Inspirational spaces

The home sits on a .65-acre hilltop site with fantastic views and beautiful landscaping, including mature oaks, maple, elm trees, Japanese maples, and magnolias.

The lower floor is built at a high section of the slope—about 1.65 feet below the ground—to create a living area that’s embedded within the terrain.

Thermory Wood lines the shower pan area in the smaller bathroom with an east-facing view. A Nebia showerhead reduces water use by 65% compared to traditional showerheads.

The 65-foot-long pool extends from the home and stretches along the property. A separate pool house includes another 20-foot dining table and barbecue area.

Nine slender, 100 x 100 millimeter square steel columns that are held in place by crossed braces on all four sides hold the small weekend house 6.5 meters in midair.
