Primitive This unusual design is based on a collection of hand carved wooden letter openers that I made for a show called "Working Space" involving objects for the office or the studio. I loved the positive/negative spacial interaction of the letter openers as they were presented in their case. Mountain Stream Based on small drawing of a the terrain on a hillside, I imagined a trickle of water making its way down the hill, and the gravitational path it would follow. The background color is tidal pool blue, with a slight abrash texture combined with the pattern of yellow wool and white silk. Hand knotted in Nepal at 100 knots in pure wool.
