FGR Architects designed an open, spacious home for a family to grow into in Victoria, Australia. Bloomfield House features an al fresco area and even a dedicated kids’ area. “Today, the family enjoys living in the space—we've seen a physical change in their lifestyle and wellbeing since moving in,” says director Feras Raffoul. “A novelty cubby house at the back also provides endless fun for children of the house.”

Located outside of Mexico City, Casa GP by architecture firm Ambrosi | Etchegaray integrates the local landscape with features like this pond.

The playroom is outfitted with Bubble armchairs by Sacha Lakic from Roche Bobois and a custom fire pole that descends from the floor above. The wallpaper is FP502001 Shaman from Pierre Frey.

Architects Sarah Graham and Marc Angelil of Los Angeles– and Zurich-based firm AGPS built their loftlike residence, dubbed the Experimental House, in the Beachwood Canyon community of the Hollywood Hills.

The new VG&P mirror by British designer Ed Carpenter, design director at Very Good & Proper, is a bright yellow pop of color with a fun yet minimal form.

“The steep hillside site posed significant challenges; an uphill site, seismic conditions, and strict city and neighborhood requirements,” a description of the project on AGPS’s website. “The idea was to build a small house that would not feel the limitations of its area.”
