Wire Tray is a minimal cart created by Seoul-based designers 757. Produced in oak, the designers wanted to create a cart using a simple structure as the frame, with the tray and castors made of wood. Safety was another important element considering the mobility of the cart. The Wire Tray Cart was designed from a physical sketch using a single strand of wire based on these ideas and concerns. With the Wire Tray Cart, 757 tried to understand and reflect the functional essence of the product before its outward design.

The goal for the designers is to create a better lifestyle by studying the actions and interactions of people. CURV Lamp was inspired by the stairway handrails installed in buildings. After 15 years of living in a one-bedroom flat above their specialty violin shop in the Melbourne suburb of Collingwood, the owners were tired of trekking downstairs to their workshop in order to use the building’s only bathroom.
