The design process of villa 5 Dari have modulars of old Persian architecture, Actually, you can see a modern villa based on Persian architecture elements: Central courtyard, privacy spaces, light catchers, depth of shades, upper private floors, and also using material like bricks and it’s layouts for portals which controls the lights and privacy of sight.

What is 5 Dari?
A master room with 5 portals opening in a porch in front of a courtyard. In old Persian homes it is almost used for hosting guests, in most smaller homes it is used as the living room. It is one of the Persian architectural elements for residents.

In continuance, there is a master courtyard that specifies the public and private spaces by 5 portals with moving brick wall shades. The Interior has the most connection to the courtyard, it also applies to the first floor with a terrace.

The placement of the portal shades is so that we can control the sight and the light by moving the shades which are overlooking the courtyard.
Each shade has a movement mechanism with wheels and reels for a brick mesh structure to create a sight and blind situation.
On another side, there is a living room by the pool, based on a Persian bench in Persian house architecture elements placed next to the courtyard.
The villa has outdoor spaces: - entrance – courtyard – pergola – parking – walking way – pool – porch – outdoor living room – terrace
And interior spaces: - entrance – living room – kitchen – bedrooms – guest room – WCs – stairs
