The Yan Residence

In a total remodel of a 1957 mid century modern California home, the client was looking to do something special in a first floor atrium area. She was looking to make a green feature but was hesitant to do a full traditional greenwall because of the maintenance costs and the invasive nature of construction something like that in old construction. She found her solution when she stumbled across The Node Collection - a manageable and modern ceramic wall planter system.
The client was so excited about being able to grow large plants on the wall and only have to put in a few screws to do so (each Node hangs on one screw) She loved the modern design of our wall planters to match her modern furnishings and loved the metallic black glaze which went so well with her walls.
She hung twelve 15" Nodes which are the biggest size and hold a 5-6" plastic nursery pot!
This was a great way to really add some greenery in the home and create an are of order and repetition. For more information and additional projects, check out pandemicdesignstudio.com
