New apartment complex in South Florida provide plenty of amenities; nice lobby, pool area, playground, activity room, parking + much more.

But this also means you will get basic, builder grade finishes and colors in all of the units, no character what so ever or individuality from the rest of the apartments in your complex.

And that was the challenge in this project, making a basic, builder grade finish apartment rental feel cozy, comfortable, stylish, unique and also easy to keep clean and organized for a father of two. In other words, make it feel like home.

After going back and forward with the building association, they finally allowed us to paint one accent wall in each room, I opted to use different shades of blues to make a statement and also to bring a sense of warmth to each space. All furniture, accessories, art + everyday items were picked keeping in mind the client and the idea that when he decides to move he would be able to use these same pieces and achieve the same look.

Paint was my biggest tool in this project, and I had to use it the best way I could!
