Large sliding glass doors create a visual and functional connection, allowing natural light to flood the interior spaces while providing direct access to the shaded verandah. The transition feels effortless, promoting cross-ventilation and a sense of openness.

The staircase serves as a sculptural highlight within the home, framed by a backdrop of exposed concrete & veneer panelling. Its lightweight appearance adds to the openness and spatial clarity of the interior. Morning sunlight entering through a tall window animates the stairwell, scattering leafy silhouettes and casting warm highlights on the surfaces.

From Mit Patel

Nestled in the bustling urban fabric of Ahmedabad, this contemporary residence is a seamless blend of modern design and the timeless materials. Each space within the home is meticulously aligned to ensure harmony, balance, and positive energy flow. The architectural layout emphasizes natural light, cross-ventilation, and functional elegance while adhering to Vaastu principles.

The use of raw materials like exposed concrete and stone harmonizes with the surrounding greenery, creating a serene urban retreat. The facade combines clean lines and earthy textures, offering a sophisticated yet grounded aesthetic. Outdoor and indoor spaces seamlessly interact, fostering a sense of openness and fluidity.

Situated in the Thaltej neighborhood of Ahmedabad, this modern residence is thoughtfully designed to offer both privacy and a sense of community. Located in a private cluster of four bungalows, it maintains complete seclusion despite the presence of a three-story apartment at the rear. The strategic use of space ensures ample natural light and ventilation while preserving intimacy.

The layout and orientation of the building are thoughtfully designed to accommodate the existing neem tree, seamlessly incorporating it into the landscape. windows are used to visually frame the neem tree from the master bedroom, turning it into a natural focal point and bringing a strong indoor-outdoor connection.

Informed by Vaastu fundamentals, the layout emphasizes directional alignment and spatial harmony, with the added intent of enhancing the overall living experience through improved daylight access and a strong visual and experiential connection to the landscaped outdoor areas.
