The Privé, at Ciĕl, is an NC Green Built Certified modern home built in homage to Frank Lloyd Wright’s, Falling Water.

The home incorporates many natural materials such as Cypress wood on the exterior facade, steel beam construction, French oak flooring, and raw tiles that show imperfections. One of the most prominent features of the structure is it’s massive glass panelled walls inviting the incredible views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in and creating an environment that includes the natural surrounding.

Design features of note include recessed modern trims, LED staircase lighting, custom oak cabinetry, separate floors for entertaining, guests, and a master floor suite.

The master bedroom is located on the top floor and cantilevered and creates a glass cube that has panoramic views of the landscape outside. Every aspect of the home has been carefully thought out to keep the design as simple, modern, and functional whilst retaining a feeling of warmth. The home rests on the south side of Elk Mountain Scenic Highway overlooking Mt. Pisgah, Pisgah National Forest, and the sky which provides a never ending organic painting that changes on a minute by minute basis.
