- Specific, Clear and Versatile vision of having a pastel themed home, very unusual and more of a western look was very clearly quoted by the young enthusiastic client from Mumbai who shifted to Pune, Worked really hard for 5 long years and bought his own dream home. Putting his heart and soul in making this home and giving a yes and trusting us completely were something that made us enjoy every bit working on this project.

- It is a 2000 sqft 4bhk apartment located at Satara Road which is in the heart of Pune city. Yes, a lot of internal wall changes were made since 2 bedrooms were small and overall apartment had less space for storage and comparatively the living room was bigger, so the Parents and kids bedroom walls were shifted towards the living room, making it comparatively wider. Being a big family, they wanted enough storage space in each of the rooms.

- An Apartment located in the plush area of Satara road, in a hi-rise apartment on the 14th floor with a beautiful view. As soon as you get out of the lift you have a lobby to the left walking towards this apartment and to the end of this lobby on the right side is this home and on the left is the other apartment. While you walk out of the lift, you see the entire right side of the lobby with wooden logs, ladders and as soon as you see an arched entrance door , you know you have entered “The Pastel home”.
When you stand at the Entrance facing towards the home, the left side of the house is all bedrooms and the right side is dining and kitchen. So the entrance opens right in front of the living room and the balcony is straight visible from the entrance. To the right side of the entrance you will see a capsule shaped dining table which compliments the arches followed in this home, completely customized and made in quartz, along with chairs made locally with the chair leather’s matched in pastel again.

Right opposite the dining is the kitchen where platforms are parallel and towards the end of the kitchen is the dry balcony and store room.

- Coming back to the centre point of the house from the entrance to the left side is the passage leading towards all the bedrooms. The arch shaped passage entrance along with the ceiling in arch too makes it look wider and attractive entry towards each of the rooms.

- As soon as you enter the passage the first room is to the right which is parent’s bedroom, a little straight to the left is the kid’s room, a few steps to the right is the common washroom and towards the end of the passage there are 2 rooms, one to the left which is master bedroom 1 and one to the right which is master bedroom 2.

- This home breaks away from the luxurious materials like marble and tinted mirrors and has its own style statement of beautiful pastels.

5. What is the theme of the space?

- A Complete Pastel Theme

THE MATERIAL PALLETTE

-Wooden Ceramic Tile for bedrooms,Grey solid vitrified for Living room, Terrazo flooring for terrace, Terrazo quartz platforms for kitchen and dining table, Birch ply, Pu paint, Frosted glass, MS and SS work, wooden logs, Veneer, Greens, Glass

-The Colour Palette is a pastel palette. However major part being white and Pastels being a highlighter in each of the rooms maintaining a good balance and at the same time each colour getting its importance.

- We really enjoyed designing the main entrance and the small balcony space. The entrance had a lot of interesting elements to show and give an idea of what theme the home would be in, with elements like logs, ladders which is unusual as compared to modern homes. However at the same time designing the entrance itself was challenging, since it was an apartment and thinking of designing an apartment entrance which gives the feel of a villa entrance. We were lucky enough to get a long wall at the entrance so we could place all the elements and a wide scope to design as per the theme. Another challenging part was to give a unique look to the balcony which had a basin which was made out of a biryani pot, since we wanted a pastel shade for the basin too and it was totally customized, another challenge was the huge 8’ cherry blossom tree which was again totally customized and co-ordinated with the overall pastel theme.

-DESIGN PHILOSOPHY : A well designed home should embody an extraordinary design that is timeless while maintaining a striking interior that is unique, luxurious, functional, livable, comfortable, and most importantly speaks the client's language.
SIGNATURE STYLE : Mirari Design Visuals believes in more of simplicity and minimalism with a unique design concept while designing which marks as a signature style in each of our projects.

-We have completely followed one theme in the entire house.

- We feel no house can be complete without Greens, A few small green planters play a major role in this home to beautify and add that freshness and charm along with other charming pastels. However one big banana planter add a lot of beauty to the living room making it look more balanced.
