My client's townhouse was built in 2018, and she purchased it from its original owners in 2023. Recently divorced and starting a new chapter in life, this project was a very personal endeavor for my client and a privilege for me to be a part of.
Our goal was to create a home that reflected her new path and vision for herself; where she could become herself, realize new potential, and chart a new course. Transforming the spaces went hand-in-hand with transforming her life.

Our collaboration focused on bringing character, style, and personality to the primary bedroom, living room, and a small powder bathroom. Design aesthetic, materials, finishes, and the color palette centered on comfort, peace, confidence, and energy. Organic elements like wood were warm and grounding - a refined, smooth, and sensually shaped wood in a dark stain complimented jewel-toned fabrics and saturated accent wall in a deep marine blue. The wood was installed on two facing walls to create an artistic backdrop and architectural interest where none existed before. This installation also created an enveloping experience for relaxation and entertaining. A light oak slat paneling, beautifully set off by soothing, sage-green walls, on the primary bedroom's wall and ceiling above the bed promote a peaceful cocooning effect.
