Lowery is a recently renovated Mid Century Modern home orginally owned by music legend Bill Lowery.

In the early 1950s, Lowery was the top country music disc jockey in America and also was a pioneer TV host on Atlanta television and is credited with being involved in the earliest recordings of Ray Stevens and Jerry Reed for Capitol Records.

The architecture reflects Lowery’s appreciation of contemporary design and his need for a location to entertain the numerous musicians and celebrities he worked with in his career. Celebrities who visited the Lowery home include Elvis’ manager Colonel Tom Parker and Liberace.

The home is located in the Briarcliff Woods section of unincorporated Dekalb County. Built in the mid century aesthetic it features an open plan, large windows and minimal detailing.

Clerestory windows in the front of the home bring light into the open living, kitchen and dining area. Large sliding glass doors connect the house to outdoor living spaces including a courtyard outside of dining area and master bath, and a patio connected to living room. The recent remodel included building out an updated kitchen and grey quartz countertops.

Partnering brands includes Crossville, Jacuzzi, and The Shade Store.
