For the design of this gorgeous family home in Vancouver, Canada, the clients wanted a space that blended a traditional style with contemporary elements, which designer Maria DeCotiis coins as “livable luxury”.
“The clients were living in a home that felt dark and lacked storage, so the goal was to create a bright space with plenty of storage space, without sacrificing style or charm.” Each space features splashes of colour to add character and fun, from the soft blue in the all-white kitchen, the brass accents in the black-tiled bathroom, or the inviting green in the boys' bedroom.
The result is a space that is bright, airy, and instantly evokes a smile.
