The Enchanted Forest

Design Note:
Tucked away high on the 23rd floor of Panchshil Towers in Kharadi lies an abode that transcends the conventional idea of a home. The Enchanted Forest, as it's lovingly called, is more than just a dwelling! It's an ode to dreams and emotions woven into every corner, and a testament to the intricate dance between nature and human ingenuity.

The Entrance Passage
The journey into the mystical realm commences through an elongated passage, adorned with a captivating tropical forest tapestry, a customised creation from Kagaz Rekha. Another highlight is the collection of 400 mini elephants perched elegantly on ledges to greet visitors and set the stage for the narrative unfolding within.

The Living Room
The living room emerges as a warm embrace with wooden rafters gracing the ceiling, adding a delicate touch. Long and sprawling scoops adorn the sofa's backdrop as a beautiful textured language throughout the living room exudes an aura of rustic elegance. Every corner speaks of meticulous design - from the seamless TV unit wall to the bespoke furniture crafted with finesse. A knotted Pachira tree casts a serene aura in the corner, while white accents within the furniture glint in the sunlight filtering through the windows.

The Dining Room and Kitchen
Beautiful arches frame each opening in this abode. Beyond one of the archways lies the dining room, a space once cloaked in darkness, now illuminated ingeniously with crockery and a collection of 200 treasured books. These displays create a mesmerising interplay of light and stories while cement plaster-finished lights hang beautifully above the dining table.

An epitome of simplicity, the kitchen is endowed with black granite countertops with white cabinets, bridging functionality with understated elegance.

The Daughter's Room
Each room unfolds a unique chapter in this enchanted narrative. The daughter's room mirrors the allure of the enchanted forest in beige tones with a meticulously hand-painted mural stretching across an expansive wall. Pink accents and a grand piano dance amidst bespoke furniture, create a symphony of delight for its young inhabitants.

The Guest Room
The guest bedroom whispers simplicity and elegance with art depicting horses embracing, continuing the enchantment and evoking a sense of harmony with nature.

The Master Bedroom
A sage sanctuary, the master bedroom immerses dwellers in a tapestry of indoor plants, customised furniture. A meditation corner adorned with a thangka artwork and mini elephants invites moments of introspection and tranquillity.
A wonderful wallpaper depicting a village in a forest adorns the back wall of the bed while a bold tribal fabric covers the headboard. An artwork that marries the Enchanted Forest and the Elephant Collection theme is framed in the bedroom. A dedicated unit houses a collection of board games, a testament to cherished moments of joy.

The Mandir and Office
The Mandir, adorned with marble backdrops and terracotta hues, offers solace and reverence.
Amidst these realms, a small office is a testament to the shared passions. A Star Wars-inspired masterpiece by the talented artist Rudrani adorns the walls, echoing the client's love for the franchise.

The Enchanted Forest abode is a treasure trove of emotions, a narrative of shared dreams woven into the very fabric of its existence. The architects have immersed themselves in understanding the client's aspirations, lived and breathed this project, weaving their emotions into every detail. The Enchanted Forest stands tall, not merely as a structure but as a testament to the beautiful union of dreams, emotions, and architectural finesse - a true embodiment of 'home.
