We are Rachel Taylor Design Co. A husband and wife duo that renovates and rents homes for both long and short term rentals. The Dutch Colonial was originally built in 1907 in Atlantic Highlands, NJ. We had the fortune of finding the home for sale in 2019 as an estate sale, with original woodwork still in tact, but many renovations over the years that left the major components of the home lacking. We moved into the home as our primary residence and design & renovated the entirety of the home and the lot to become a sophisticated residence that paid homage to the historic features of the home, but modernized it with a sleek black and white interior with some European influence. The end result as a home that we loved as our primary residence and then chose to share with others as a long-term rental.
