From Jonathan Glasgow

The Dene Residence included the complete remodel of a 1883 one-story late Victorian residence into a wine-country vacation home. The original structure was restored while a new guest house and small main house addition were added. Original house elements are white, while the modern, rustic guesthouse and addition are black-stained cedar. The multi-level decks, gardens, and small pool bridge the connections between the main and guest houses. Interiors are simple, open, and comfortable. The project is located in the historic neighborhood of the charming village of St. Helena in the heart of the Napa Valley.
