Nestled on a hillside in Fair Oaks, CA, is the Cliff House on Southcliff Dr. This residence truly is a vibe, an ideal model of late-70's mid-century architecture that's been intentionally restored and remodeled by Uncommon Projects. When I acquired the property, it was in complete disrepair and in need of structural improvements, new decking and interiors - completely uninhabitable. Designing the renovation, we wanted a playful yet bold vibe that didn't take away from the structure but enhanced it. Luckily, we were able to keep most of the interior cedar T&G planks. The lofted primary suite commands the entire top floor, complete with a sitting area/MCM fireplace, large closet, private deck and open concept bathroom with walk-in shower and soaking tub. Truly a unique feature! An entertainers dream, the entire home is a continuous indoor/outdoor experience. All three bedrooms lead to the new 800 SF redwood deck and yard. The unique .37 acre lot is on a steep slope, providing canyon and treetop views, which also unique for the Sacramento area. It was a dream working on this architectural home that feels like a permanant vacation in the city!
