The Bungalow

Our 1950s bungalow has undergone a stunning metamorphosis, emerging as a serene, modern retreat that beautifully blends organic elements with contemporary style. From the natural stone exterior and modern composite fluted accents to the pristine stucco and sleek new windows and doors, every inch of this home has been meticulously redesigned. Inside, vaulted ceilings soar above custom-crafted millwork and reeded white oak built-ins, while a breathtaking wall of windows floods the space with natural light. The additional square footage has allowed us to create not only a more functional layout but also a space where every room, closet, and drawer is tailored for effortless organization. Over 10 months, we lived through this transformation, with me personally designing the interiors and collaborating daily with builders to bring our dream home to life. Now that the dust has settled, we’re eager to share the story of how this once traditional bungalow became a bright and tranquil sanctuary, perfect for modern living.
