The Bere is a new build construction situated in the Hampshire village of Clanfield – (off the A3 corridor) with easy access into Petersfield, Portsmouth and London.

The project was designed to incorporate and blur the boundaries between inside & outside living during the summer months as well as the option for home working, by way of a home office/ studio in the garden shed.

The main source of design inspiration for the project was the Post war Case Study House programme in California.

The shell was pre-fabricated off site using SiPs (Structural Insulated Panels).
Up to 20% of the homes energy consumption is generated via passive Solar PV and Solar Thermal roof mounted panels.
