Last August, I purchased a beautiful home overlooking the Elwha River valley oriented towards the sliver of Pacific Ocean that beams sunlight down the Strait of Juan de Fuca framed by the Olympic Mountains and Vancouver Island. A recent plumbing preventative maintenance effort went awry and the plumber that did the work and my insurance company will not cover the costs to repair the water damage to my kitchen. The kitchen is the heart and soul of my home and I am hoping that dwell can help me turn this ordeal into a positive transformation that makes my kitchen even more of a delightful space to watch the world while preparing locally sourced meals.
