Soho Penthouse

THE PROJECT: RENOVATING AND EXPANDING A SOHO PENTHOUSE

This client wanted to update their two-bedroom SoHo penthouse and add a third bedroom, second bathroom to optimize their outdoor space.

DESIGNING A SOLUTION

TNB gutted the apartment entirely, making space for a third bedroom and creating a master bedroom with a bathroom ensuite. We renovated the kitchen and living room and refurbished the unit’s existing fireplace to create a beautiful corner fireplace. New greenhouse (solarium) windows were installed and enlarged to replace the smaller, leaking solarium windows. These windows highlight the home’s beautiful city views. We also enhanced the outdoor space by creating a grilling area on the front terrace and installing a pergola with adjustable louvers. The large foldable glass doors we added to the terraces, created a stronger connection between the indoor and outdoor areas.

TNB’s design gave the client the extra room they needed while updating their space to create a more comfortable, livable home.
