Silver Lake Guest House

A guest house on the top of a hill in the Silver Lake District. The house inhabits two parallel walls, which orient toward the views. The walls are like landscape walls, and frame a new landscape garden. A break in the walls creates a courtyard with a fireplace. On one side of the courtyard is the living space, and the other a more private bedroom. The house seeks to create harmony with the landscape, and contribute to a site more than occupy it.
