From SHATOTTO architecture for green living
In the, Mid of 19th century industrial revolution dramatically started transforming the world. Basically, it was supposed to allow for freedom to the people and encourage them to ask questions to any premise. This set forth a chain of events that forced mankind, on one hand, to become busy in acquiring the basic needs venturing into an age of Anthropocene and on the other, he became a victim to a diminishing emotional coherence. In this Extended family dwelling the attempt was to weave the Bengali emotion with an industrial material, like metal, to achieve the Tropical romanticism. To cater to the eastern sun in the early hours of the day, a metal trellis was carefully articulated to create a dialogue between light and greenery that enhanced the spatial quality. Thus, this residence became a shelter for the birds, the sky, shade, shadow, penumbra and lastly the humans.
