The indoor extends to the outdoor with a calm palette.
Adding the sliding glass door from the kitchen to the pool opened up the space with more natural light and better flow.
Painted all the interior doors black and added the barn door for privacy.
This pool/guest bath with backyard access was a must for entertaining.
We took out the wine cellar here to add the shower, but added it back below!
Inset rift white oak cabinets bring nature inside.
Adding the pendants down the main hall brightened up a dark space.
The hidden coffee bar is open for morning routines, but closed off later for a clean look.

After a few renovations left this home feeling disconnected and dark, the homeowner wanted it to feel modern, serene and connected to nature. We remodeled the kitchen, added doors for better access to the pool, a pool bathroom, updated fireplace, lighting, exterior and interior paint, added a custom glass front door, metal awnings, new courtyard gate and more. The goal was to maintain the southwest architecture, the tile floors, but make it feel more modern.
