Our clients for this project asked our Austin studio to furnish their spacious home and give it a finished look. The young family with two children wanted a fun, elegant look balanced with comfort and functionality that suits their family and lifestyle.
The furniture in the living room has all the above qualities. Large, comfy sofas are juxtaposed with sleek, modern chairs and a large coffee table to accommodate the family's needs and when they entertain. Pillows, accessories and abstract art add color to the space, so does the built-in glass storage. The design focal point in this room is the dark fireplace that doubles up as a TV unit.
The dining area is furnished with an eclectic mix of furniture and statement lighting. The printed ceiling, two-toned console, and circular mirror add visual interest to the space and complement the curvature of the chairs and the round dining table. The primary suite is all about calming hues with glass highlights, like the bedside lamps and metal-rimmed mirrors.
