This is the first urban Passive House Renovation in Canada. Passive House Certification is a voluntary building standard, a Passive House is a high performance and highly comfortable home.

Passive houses are built to higher than Ontario Building Code Standards. An airtight building envelope, a Heat Pump and a HRV system, Passive House certified windows and doors. Net zero achieved through Net Metered Solar Panels on flat roof. Zero Carbon Emmsions due to no gas furnace. Clean open concept design with a third floor balcony. Plus a Terrance on top of the lane accessed garage.
