Our client wanted an open-concept hotel lounge vibe that's perfect for socializing. The key to achieving this is by designing an open concept that allows for easy flow between the kitchen, living room, and entryway. By tearing down the fireplace wall and leaving the fireplace as a freestanding structure between the kitchen and living room to create a more spacious layout, we made the area feel more inviting and welcoming. This not only allows for more natural light to enter the room but also creates an element of visual interest that can serve as a focal point for the area. By doing so, you can create a sense of continuity throughout the space and make it feel more cohesive. It's also important to choose the right color scheme, furniture, and lighting to enhance the ambiance of the space. We added comfortable seating options, such as plush curvilinear chairs, and specified lighting that creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. These design elements create a space that feels like a luxurious hotel lounge and is perfect for entertaining guests. By removing unnecessary walls, rethinking the layout of the space, and adding the perfect design elements and finishing touches you can create a warm and welcoming environment that's perfect for socializing and relaxing.
