Our clients hired us to remodel the top two floors of their three story single family home. This family of four was looking to add a new full bathroom and powder room, relocate laundry to the top floor, add a media room, and remodel their kitchen.

On the second floor, we focused on the back of the house where previous remodels had stripped the character and created awkward connection between spaces. We removed walls and shifted the dining room opening to create a new kitchen and media room that look out to the rear yard. We also added a new powder room off of the entry hall.

On the third floor, we reconfigured closets and an existing bathroom to create two full bathrooms and a laundry closet.

We also built a new stair railing for the three level staircase, replaced windows and doors, added custom built-ins and refinished the floors.

This was a special project that involved matching many original architectural details - such as coved ceilings and wood floor details. The final result is a cohesive space that feels much more aligned with the original character of the home, and meets the needs of a modern SF family.
