Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Amherst, Massachusetts, the Zen Den is an inspired creative retreat designed for award-winning author and illustrator Aaron Becker. This meticulously crafted studio blends modern architecture with the serene beauty of its natural surroundings, offering a harmonious space for artistic exploration.

The Zen Den’s defining feature is its expansive windows, which frame the vivid colors of the surrounding New England forest. In the fall, when the landscape bursts into hues of amber, crimson, and gold, the space comes alive with a breathtaking views of nature and design. Aaron reflects, “I just had a moment of awe looking towards all of these incredible windows; the fall colors coming to life just outside this clean, pure space. What a juxtaposition. The wild and the meticulous creative spirit at work. It’s like images of architecture amidst nature. Always my favorite.”
