Merry Steps Children’s Shoe and Toy Store

This store design for Merry Steps combines European charm with a functional, child-friendly layout to accommodate shoes, clothing, and toys within a compact space. Adjustable shelving allows for flexible product displays, and strategically placed storage cabinets hold additional shoe sizes for easy access. The checkout area maximises limited space with display shelving for smaller items.

Inspired by the brand’s mouse logo, the design introduces a whimsical theme with a large yellow sun, floating clouds, and playful mouse illustrations, creating an inviting atmosphere for children. A high, vaulted ceiling painted white enhances the airy feel, while soft pastel tones in wall art, furniture, and textiles evoke a magical, carefree childhood ambiance. Thoughtful design elements ensure a welcoming and efficient space for customers and staff, setting a strong foundation for future store expansions.
