A couple architectural changes created a drastic change for this mid century renovation. Simply rotating the roof and vaulting the ceiling in the living spaces created a completely different look. Every inch is thoughtfully used and natural light is brought into the space. An open floorplan uses thoughtful millwork to define spaces. A wood 'cube' is used to anchor the entryway from one side, a pantry and fridge wall from one side, coffee area from another, as well as divide the stairwell. An adjacent interior glass wall keeps this wood cube floating in the space and allows for light to flood down the stairwell. With keeping the mid century theme wood finished are used, a long with a classic malm fireplace in the living room.
