Marquette Modern is a design by Albuquerque architect Mr. Sean Gilligan. Built in 2001 on a plot of land never-before-used, it sits at the edge of Albuquerque's Perea Addition which was platted in 1881. By 1905 the area had become the preferred neighborhood for members of the city's mercantile and professional elite. The main home is built around a private enclosed courtyard and is flanked by two mothers-in-law quarters, all built in the modern loft style with 16 foot ceilings and a total of 4 bedroom lofts overlooking living spaces. All spaces are available for short-term rental at Special thanks to Alicia Carter Interiors for professional interior design services.
