This charming early 1900’s home was in need of some updates that matched our clients’ lifestyles while maintaining some of the original architectural features. After living in the home for some time, the clients decided to renovate the entire first floor including an updated kitchen, storage solutions throughout, and an upgraded powder room.

We did away with the current mudroom and gave the square footage to the kitchen. Floor to ceiling custom cabinetry lines the far wall, giving ample storage for appliances and cookware. A large walnut island with a hand-selected soapstone top make this a perfect place for exploring a new recipe or hosting an intimate gathering.

Steps away from the kitchen is a custom curved built-in with open walnut shelving planking the left side. This unit serves as discreet storage for all outerwear and footwear as well as houses drawers for dining storage. Warm wood tones, creamy paint selections, and vintage accessories create a soulful interior that is both functional and beautiful.
