Mabel Cabin
Mabel is surrounded by untouched forests, farmland and native bush in the hills of Waipu, Northland.
NZ built Roaring Meg mini woodburner is the heart and soul of the cabin.
The interior is lined using Poplar Ply throughout, with a great retro-bach feeling Cork tiled floor.
The cabin sleeps up to 4 people, using the mezzanine overhead and also has a fully equipped shower/WC and kitchen.
Beautiful, peaceful and still spot surrounded by nature

A little 15sqm rentable eco cabin designed and built to make the most of this incredible elevated location up in the Waipu hills, Northland New Zealand overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The cabin is completely off-grid capturing rainfall to topup water reserves and solar to power all the appliances. Built with longevity and sustainability at the forefront, but also with ultimate comfort and sense of understated luxury. Also to ensure the cabin will eventually meld seamlessly into the landscape over time, allowing nature to regrow and soften the edges of the cabin.
