It is a small, minimal house. As the owners have two kids, the conception of the house is very kids friendly. The interior and the furniture was chosen to be timeless, mid-century like. It is a mixture of mid-century and scandinavian chic. All paintings are made by the owner in order to give life to the monocromathic interior conception.
Interior design elements complement the exterior landscaping. A dividing fence made of cumaru wood lattice echoes the original oak wood flooring in the dining roof. A slate terrace flows in an L-Form around the house.
The rooms were planned around the matte black kitchen. The heart of the house. A place to talk to people and to meet each other.
The architect, builders, and the owners were all actively involved in the pursuit of aesthetic and technical excellence.
The relatively small in size, has made a huge impact, increasing natural light, usable living space, and adding considerable visual distinction.
The house is situated in a quite and rural location.
