La Dominique is a minimalist interior located in Barcelona, Spain, designed by RÄS STUDIO. The architects found a naked attic with many possibilities thanks to the volumetric space that offered a double gable roof hidden behind the existing ceiling. The discovery of the attic allowed the architects to convert the single-level apartment into a lofted duplex. The designers utilized a polycarbonate material to create a semi-transparent filter that allows natural light to enter without sacrificing privacy.
