Clean lines and really minimizing details are the key features of this style design. What we really are just trying to accomplish is creating a great aesthetic presence with the building forms themselves and not relying strictly on ornamentation to create interest to the building – although the front entry element is unique to draw your eye in and invite people into the building through its use of large format, cut stone pieces that form a gable, giving it prominence and visual importance.

Transom windows on both the front and back bring in a lot of daylight to the main living space on the main level. The garage is visually minimized by being pushed back for one of the stalls and then being side load on another stall.

This home has a second floor, but we tried to minimize the scale to fit more into the neighborhood so the second floor is built into the roof form to give it more of a story-and-a-half appearance as opposed to a full two-story.
