Kassner Residence

This 1880s cottage (with early 1900s additions) underwent major renovations in 2017. The space was modernized and brought up to code by architect, Elizabeth Parks AIA. The homeowner, Ellie Kassner, is an ironworker who designed the stairs and incorporated light industrial touches (such as the main span beams, ski lift chair and structural design). In the family for over 50 years, this renovation honored the past generations who lived here, while undergoing updates to make it perfect for the next generation for years to come.
