This modern Acadian farmhouse home is nestled in the heart of the capital city’s Arts District. At just under 2,000 sq. ft. of living area, the home, designed and built in 2017 by Harvey Smith Construction, features an open floorplan with vaulted ceiling in the living room and a second floor balcony that overlooks the entire family room. There are concrete floors throughout, and a total of three bedrooms, two of which are master bedrooms, one upstairs and one down; and three full baths, two of which are master baths with spacious walk-in closets. The dining area contains a wall of windows and double doors with single-light, double paned glass that open onto a patio with a dining/lounge space. The minimalist style house was designed to be energy efficient from top to bottom and easy to maintain and clean. Additionally, there is a two-car garage with a weight room, two walls of cabinets, and a work area for creative/woodworking projects.
