This project responds to the contemporary need for a secluded, secure, and self-sufficient space where individuals can seek refuge without sacrificing the sense of freedom and connection to nature, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The pavilion's design not only provides a safe haven but also conceives a versatile and welcoming environment adaptable to various functions and needs of its inhabitants.
The design focus centered on ensuring total privacy towards the main street, Av. Principal in La Herradura, a busy thoroughfare, while the rear façade generously opens up, visually connecting with the existing house and surrounding green spaces, creating a more expansive, luminous, and welcoming environment. Despite the limited footprint, the design achieves an ideal flow within the house, harmoniously integrating interior and exterior spaces and landscaped areas.

The exterior heights and volumes have been carefully planned to maintain visual harmony, contributing to the project's spatial, aesthetic, and functional balance. For the exterior finishes, a palette of fresh, soft, and neutral colors was chosen, subtly engaging with the natural environment through national materials such as Riviera Beige Quarry, Vayecillo Stone, and Grisal Granite. These elements bring a unique sensitivity in texture and tone, generating a perfect balance between the natural and built.

For the interior, gray, white, and black marbles were selected, combined with the warmth of walnut wood, predominantly used in built-in furniture, paneling, and sliding doors. The finishes not only serve an aesthetic purpose but were also chosen for specific functional intentions, contributing to the cohesion, fluidity, and comfort of the overall design.
