In designing the stunning, airy dining room for a family in Boca West, designer Andrea Lecusay fused masculine contemporary design concepts with a soft, beachy palette inspired by the family's previous home in The Hamptons. The space embodies understated, clean, minimalistic, and soft elegance. In order to create the natural and calming atmosphere that the family sought, Lecusay brilliantly lined the dining room walls with white oak shiplap detailing and added large windows to frame the dining room table. A blend of natural materials were used to create this balance, such as wide plank white oak wood floors from Belgium, which are sustainably sourced and sealed with hard wax instead of polyurethane.

The focal point of the masterfully subdued dining room is the Light Chimes LED Cluster Pendant from SONNEMAN–A Way of Light. Inspired by humble wind chimes, this fixture infuses an airy, yet dramatic effect into the space. Each chime is hung at a different length, providing the dining room with an extra layer of dimension and texture.
