Collector's apartment

The 75 sq.m. apartment is located in one of the «Seven Sisters» high-rises, the leading architectural legacies of the Soviet period, and was designed by architect Aiya Lisova. Creating the living space for herself she decided to infuse new life into the heritage yet keeping all the significant historical details. The interior combines Aiya’s aesthetic sense, individual vision, and tremendous regard for the history of the legendary house.  

The interior became distinctive thanks to the historical details. Gypsum ceiling decorations, antique cremones on the windows, herringbone parquet were restored and preserved, as well as the high wooden doors, painted in original white tones.

In this apartment, there is an organic coexistence between history and actuality: modern and vintage furniture, contemporary art, African and Indonesian treasures that Aiya brings from her travels. The interior has become timeless and fully reflects the designer's love for unique objects and perfect composition.

The bureau was established in 2013. Aiya sets the development direction and style of the bureau and actively seeks inspiration for our projects through her travels around the world. She also promotes the bureau in the international market, raising awareness of its exceptional work.

Aiya has an impressive educational background, having graduated from the Faculty of History of Arts at M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, as well as from the International Design School in Moscow, where she completed her studies in Interior Design. Additionally, she has completed a Lyndall Fernie course at Chelsea College of Arts in London, further honing her skills and knowledge in the field.
