From Diego Monchamp

Walls of glass, slim lines and a rolling natural landscape plan blends this house into its surroundings. However, once one walks through the front door it is anything but quiet as the meticulous design details of owners Diego Brown-Monchamp and Ryan Brown of California-based firm Brown Design Group are everywhere. From the sea of terrazzo floors bleeding into warm cork, the custom walnut cabinetry with high-efficiency use of space, to the perfect amount of furniture that is visible from all angles, it shows that everything was carefully calculated. The rear of the house floats off the post deck with sheets of glass with only a single solid wall that waterfalls into the garden below. Whether seeing peeks of the Pacific Ocean from the kitchen deck or enjoying the intimacy of the cedar tub nestled into local sandstone, the property on almost an acre doesn't have a bad angle.
