Bueso-Inchausti & Rein Architects was founded in Madrid in 1983. It is currently run by Alejandro Bueso-Inchausti, Pablo Rein and Edgar Bueso-Inchausti, who work with a multidisciplinary team of different nationalities. They are focused on the field of architecture and urbanism, specializing in residential and tertiary typologies. Their buildings can be found in Spain, Romania, US, Mexico and Switzerland.
The work of Bueso-Inchausti & Rein Arquitectos has always maintained continuity, understanding architecture as a formal expression of function, as a dialogue between form and function, between what and how.
Its most famous works are the Rozasnova building for Alius, which was awarded the Prize of the College of Architects of Madrid and nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award; the buildings for the ESADE business school, the European University and the Baluarte building, which are located in Madrid. The list also includes collective housing buildings located in the North of Madrid, where about twenty buildings are planned within a radius of three hundred meters only, among which housing units in Paseo de la Habana 187-189 (Prize of the College of Architects of Madrid 2015+10), in Paseo de la Habana 173 and 175-177; housing units in 34 Pradillo street (Premio Asprima 2016 Award), in Hoyo 15, in Lígula street, 13 Plaza street, in Madrigal 14, Madroños 27 -a residential building for families-, Habana 75 Residential Building, etc.
The studio works in Bucharest (Romania) since 2005. Its projects include, among others: the reorganization of Piata Universitatii, one of the most important squares in the country; home of the Aaylex Group, Averescu dwellings, Dante Alighieri dwellings, Floreasca Building, Delavrancea dwellings; Offices Building in Bucharest; Buzesti Building, two Residential Buildings in Charles de Gaulle Square and the project Up-site Bucharest, which will be the tallest residential building in the Romanian capital.
Throughout its history, Bueso-Inchausti & Rein Arquitectos has designed projects for clients such as JP Morgan, Peabody Group, O’Connor Capital Partners, Richelieu Developments, Merlin Properties, Nozar, One United Properties, Grupo Aylex, Real Madrid, VB Landtrade, Alius Inversiones, Alaska Inversiones, Diken, Duprocom, Grupo Delta, Cetelem or the City of Bucharest.
