Welcome to our home! Sitting pretty at the top of our stoop is the main entrance to our home. The original bench, stair banister, and other wood details are over 100 years old.

Our dark and moody Parlor Study is where our family likes to gather around for movie night, playing games, or enjoying a nightcap.

The projector screen is recessed and out of sight when we aren’t using it and the projector is tucked away in the cabinet. Check out our liquor bar, with original moulding details and wood backing that predates prohibition.

The only full kitchen in the house lives in the back of the Garden Level and opens up to the backyard. Is this the most beautiful kitchen? No. Is it insanely better (aesthetically & functionally) than when we moved in? Yes. For now, thats good enough for us.

Our Master Bedroom is a quite large space and is still very much a work in progress. Eventually this room will likely be divided into two smaller rooms connected with a pocket door, so not investing too much into it at the moment.

Our favorite detail in here is the original wood shutters, which we can’t wait to strip down to wood and make some small repairs to.

This small little space is just right for snuggles and sleeping. With enough room for her bed, dresser, and minimal toys, this bedroom is cozy & cute for our growing kiddo.

A fan favorite room of our house. This playroom sits up at the back of the house, overlooking the backyard. It’s where our 3 yr old spends most of her day reading books, watching Sesame Street, playing with her play kitchen, and just having fun being a kid.

The cabinet on the left is painted to match the wall and blend in a bit and is where our toys are put away at the end of the day. Note the mantle here… its painted like the other ones in the house, but we opted to paint the tile on this one as well.

This tiny but mighty kitchenette sits perched up on the 4th floor of our Brooklyn Brownstone. With just enough room for the essentials, and a very handy sink, this space is best for a simple breakfast and afternoon snack time.

This upstairs bedroom is simple but sweet. Neutral furniture and crisp finishes make it inviting and cozy for a peaceful sleep.

The bathrooms in our home probably need more work than anything else. The least bad bathroom is up on the top floor, so we gave it a little lift with fresh paint, new pulls, faucet, and mirror. Not super glam, but certainly far better than where it started.

One of the best parts of living in a Brooklyn Brownstone is having our own backyard for the entire family to hang out in. Theres something for everyone back here - seating for the adults, a chic playhouse for the kiddo (and her friends), and a beautiful custom fence for privacy from our neighbors.

In 2020 we purchased a beautiful 130+ year old brownstone in Brooklyn, New York. We’ve spent our first few months doing light renovations to the space… we refinished the floors, painted the walls, and even gave a light update to the kitchen.

The plan is now to take some time enjoying our home, tackling smaller touch up projects, before we begin the heavy task of doing a gut renovation (yet preserving all the historical details & charm) floor by floor, to eventually make this the home of our dreams.
