Ash Street ADU

The Ash street ADU is about creating outdoor connection and indoor programmatic relationships. The cut away in the ADU creates a small courtyard — providing shared entertainment space for both the main house and the detached ADU. The indoor layout is highlighted by a lofted sleeping area that makes the small footprint studio feel generously sized. The raised separation creates opportunity for a built-in desk and dresser along the half wall facing the bedroom. The entire space is structured around the large casework wall broken up by windows and bamboo beyond.
