The prompt was to redefine the home’s identity by creating something radically different from the existing traditional home and its neighborhood. The additions’ modern form takes reference from old barn structures and mid-century modern detailing. The large lofted space serves as a perfect backdrop for the owner’s growing art collection and is a great space for entertaining.
