From 7 Miles to Kingston
Your Gateway to Hudson Valley History and natural beauty in a Colonial Stone House appointed with comfortable modern conveniences.
The 300-year-old House was fully restored with lots of love to details to keep the integrity of that beautiful house.
The house was built by a cattle farmer with a lot of land, he was quiet influential in that region. The barns surrounding the house had been built first and later he started to build the stone-house and it was extended over the years. Later on the House was used as an Inn, before it was converted to a one family home.
We restored 3 of the fire-places on the ground floor. And we also put the most energy efficient heating and cooling system (heat pumps) to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We renovated the house with a lot of love and filled it with old original and very modern parts.
Behind the house with a panoramic view of the Catskills Range is our Saltwater swimming pool with a patio and sun-chairs to relax.
Our comfortably spacious kitchen filled with modern conveniences including 6-burner Viking range and dishwasher.
There are 6 acres of land surrounding the property wich includes 2 barns and at the far end is the Esopus Creek immersed by a nature preserve.
The living room has a working fire place as well and a " Vico Magistretti for Cassina” leather sofa to relax and a video projector with a pull down screen to make your own movie nights.
The dining room sits 14 people for some great dinner parties and festivities on a beautiful “Pace” dining table made out of Maple.
The sun room has nice vintage wood table to sit 12 people comfortable ceiling fans to give it a nice breeze in summer.
