It is a labor of love to restore something so deteriorated to the point of having no use into something to be lived in and enjoyed all over again. It’s truly a renewed life for this 1963 Airstream Overlander.

Part of the joy for us when working on these kinds of projects is to bring appreciation to the character and soul that comes with a 60 year old unit and marrying it with how we live today. There is a beauty in preserving the imperfections that come from a road warrior well-used in its early days. There’s soul and history. It leaves your mind wondering about the mystery of the travels and adventures it once had.

Our brief for this commissioned renovation was to create a space that felt like luxury without being precious. A warm, inviting place for guests to experience Airstream life. An oversized, luxury bathroom was a priority, as well as creating space for remote work or dining with friends. The coffee bar, vintage inspired fridge and custom cabinetry make for a beautifully spacious, fully functioning kitchen. Of course, quality sleep matters! We made sure to incorporate a residential queen size bed.

The end result of this custom build is a space where all that’s left to do, is enjoy the moment.
