From SF DESIGN INTERIORS
This project was designed for a young, progressive family seeking a harmonious blend of modern elegance and classical aesthetics. The house was purchased in a White Box condition, requiring a meticulously planned interior to seamlessly integrate neoclassical elements with minimalism, while maintaining a sense of warmth and sophistication.
Design Solutions & Key Features
The ceiling height did not allow for traditional neoclassical attributes, so we introduced elegant gypsum moldings on the walls, painted in a deep gray shade. This provided the perfect backdrop for working with textiles, furniture, and décor.
To visually enhance the space, we incorporated optical techniques, including:
Mirrored panels to reflect light and add depth,
Stone and veneer with a vertical pattern to create a sense of height,
Custom-designed furniture, extending up to the ceiling, meticulously crafted according to our detailed blueprints.
The Heart of the Home – Living Room, Kitchen, and Dining Area
The living, kitchen, and dining area is a carefully curated composition that balances functionality and aesthetics.
Key Elements:
A kitchen without upper cabinets, creating an airy and minimalist look.
A stunning onyx backsplash with integrated lighting, adding a unique ambiance in the evening.
A kitchen island made of natural wood with a stone countertop, designed with ergonomic precision to ensure maximum functionality.
The living area is accentuated by a statement fireplace crafted from rare natural marble, sourced from a remote region of Italy. Completing the refined atmosphere is luxurious Dedar fabric, uniting the interior’s color palette into a seamless and harmonious composition.
Lighting in this project is not only functional but also decorative, with accent lighting from Italamp, adding an extra layer of sophistication to the space.
Layout & Functional Zones
The house consists of three floors, with each level carefully designed for optimal comfort:
Living room, kitchen, dining area, and guest room – an open space designed for socializing and entertaining.
Children’s room and home office – personalized spaces for study and work.
Master bedroom with en-suite bathroom – a private retreat for the homeowners, thoughtfully zoned for comfort.
Art & Inspiration
The home’s artistic ambiance is enriched by works of renowned Austrian artist Peschke, whose pieces add a sense of sophistication and individuality to the interior.
Project Philosophy: Timeless Contemporary Comfort
This project embodies a timeless interior that remains relevant for years to come. It seamlessly merges classic elegance, modern functionality, and the warmth of a family home, creating an ideal living environment that balances beauty and comfort.
